What is it?

HVAC or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technicians install, maintain, and repair heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. They work in residential homes, businesses, schools or other buildings, often working outside in hot or cold conditions, and may need to work in tight spaces. This occupation is in high-demand as outdated HVAC systems constantly need to be repaired and upgraded.

 

What will I do?

HVAC Technicians primarily are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. They will identify any electrical or mechanical faults with the system or equipment. They recommend solutions based on diagnosing any problems or associated risks. Many times, just cleaning or adjustments are needed to get HVAC systems back in working condition while performing warranty service.
