What is it?
Business Operations Specialists help improve the operations within a company or organization so that it is more efficient and effective. They review and analyze all aspects of the company’s operations, including finance and accounting, hiring and training practices, information technology and business data, compliance and regulations, sales and customer service, and supply chain management.
What will I do?
A business operations specialist will analyze customer needs and determine how operations can be changed to improve service to customers and better meet their needs. They might analyze how information is collected and recorded and where improvements can be made. Business operations will evaluate company operations to make sure they are compliant with safety standards and industry regulations. They also might conduct financial or legal audits.
