Youth Conservation Corps

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Youth Conservation Corps YouthBuild program helps young people ages 16-24 get back on track and become self-sufficient. Most of the youth in this program have left high school without a diploma and are unemployed. YCC mentors and empowers young adults to succeed through education and training in life skills, career pathways, and environmental stewardship. We provide training and certifications in construction skills and information technology (networking, operating systems, and computer security). YCC’s construction initiative builds affordable housing for low-income families.

YCC also offers a “graduate program” for opportunity youth with a high school diploma or GED who are interested in additional education and training in high-demand career pathways.
